Being an avid collector of this ancient rite of passage for many years himself, as well as going through a traditional tattoo apprenticeship to truly understand the art form, not to mention being an active member of the National Tattoo Association for almost 10 years now. Jeff Kearney made the transition into photographing for worldwide Body Modification Publications such as, Skin Art, Tattoo Magazine, Pain, Tattoo Revue, Savage, International Tattoo, and many others through a very natural type of progression that he continues to enjoy to this day!
