In the summer of 2016 I was chosen by The Resource Exchange (TRE) to photograph for the Colorado exhibit of the world traveling gallery, “Positive Exposure: Change How You See, See How You Change”. Over the course of 2 days in August at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and another 2 days in September at the Colorado Springs Pioneer’s Museum I was given the opportunity to photograph 91 individuals for the exhibit. To this day I still have a hard time describing the experience, however, I can say without any hesitation that it was not only one of the most meaningful and amazing moments in my career, but even more, in my life.
Created by internationally renowned photographer, Rick Guidotti, the “Positive Exposure” organization promotes a more inclusive world through visual exhibits and educational programs. Exhibited at the Chapel Hills Mall from 2016-2018 the Colorado Positive Exposure gallery attracted thousands of viewers and won the 2017 U.S. Maxi Award.
